  A real country pub if ever there was one. They even have a beer loving emu! Cold beers, and somewhere shady to down them and wash all that bulldust away - what more can you ask after a long day on the road. Friendly publicans, happy to chat about how much they love living in God's own country!

  One of the great place to visit historical place. The room is clean and aircondion, Television, mini fridge, microwave oven, boiling jug all work's inside the room. Great if you had lot's of free heating food like instant soup and coffee. Lovely and friendly staff. I love the guard dog's.

  Hint: get fuel there if you're heading north, next stations/roadhouses all sell it for over $2/L

  Expensive rooms but cheap camping area. Nice cold beer. Friendly staff. A good break after the long road drom Lakeland and very welcome stopover on the way back south.

  This place might not look like much at first glance but it's awesome. Great country atmosphere. The staff is VERY friendly, I was greeted with a smile and felt like home. Reasonably priced too given the remoteness. They even opened the petrol station for us even though it was late at night and it was closed.
